Collecting End Users Data
To display analytics data, AppNavi collects various user data if the analytics function is activated. By default, we collect the following user information:
- Browser Name: The user's browser for example Chrome is detected and stored in the local storage of the user's browser
- Browser Language: The browser's language of the user is stored in the local storage of the user's browser.
- Session Id: The Session Id is generated by the system for each user session. A user session starts when an application is opened in the browser and ends when the user closes the application, e.g. by closing the tab or the browser.
- User Id: The user Id is normally generated by Appnavi and stored in the local storage of the user's browser. However, the user Id can also be set using a custom code.
- Search Term: The term that the user has searched for in the avatar and its frequency will be recorded only for logged-out users.
