Content Management
AppNavi has a very simple yet powerful content management and flow. Content is created by an author and how the content can then be made available to different workpaces, Applications and users. Each content (routes, post, announcement, info, collection, nps, pins etc.) is initially assigned to a tenant.
Access Content Between Workspaces
Tenants can be divided into different Workspaces. The Workspaces are to be seen as a further logical level of structure. By the logical workspace level, it is possible to distribute content to different workspaces. Each Workspaces contains its own logically separated data for same content like: routes, post, collections and so on. Content can be reused by several workspaces within a tenant. User can copy/move content to other one or more workspaces.
Publishing Assistant (Mass Publication)
The mass publication is implemented for the purpose to publish all content in one click.
This function is implemented for routes, posts, trainings and hotspots. When the user selects the mass publication option, a dialogue opens with a hint text and a table which shows all selected content in a dialog (publish, assigned and not assigned), a user has to select a maximum of 25 contents and by clicking publish button all will be published on a specific application.
Latest Version vs Publish Version
When a user makes some changes and save the content without publishing it, that version is known as the latest version. Whereas the published version is a kind of version that tells the last published version of the content. With the new option “Save and publish”, the latest and publish versions can be the same. And the latest version will always be published.
Deleting Content via Recycle Bin
Recycle bin has been added to avoid immediate deletion or data loss. On deleting any route, post, collection or pin, It will move into the recycle bin and all of its assignments will be removed. The user can restore any element within 30 days. However, the assignment will not be restored and it has to be assigned and published again. After 30 days it will be deleted permanently and would not be restored. Moreover, there is a job that checks the date on the daily basis and is responsible for the permanent deletion from the recycle bin.
