Application Shutdown

Application shutdown is used to convey messages to user using any application, it is possible to alert users to the imminent shutdown of an application. In addition, user behavior is measured to determine whether the number of users in the application is decreasing.

In this type of steering activity the advance configuration require the following details:

• Application: User can select minimum 1 application.
• Expected users: Total no. of unique users.
• Target Audience: Add if any, its an optional field.

The users can add up to 5 languages and see the live preview of the announcement to be created on the application for application shutdown. The announcement will be shown to users on the application till the date has been selected, after the date range has been met the announcement will no more be displayed to the users using the application. The minimum date range of application shutdown is displayed for 14 days. The target is reached when the number of users in the application falls below the target zone for 7 days. Application shutdown has the description written predefined and the title and description can also be edited.

Analytics for Application Shutdown

Satisfaction Survey analytics shows the progress of activity, which give insights of interactions done by users on the applications through charts and other data.

Interactions: Total no. of users who viewed the announcement.

Users: Total no. of unique users.

Countries: Total no. of countries the application is accessed from.

User Line chart: Total no. of users per day in the life time of the activity.

Activity by Country: Total no. of users from each country.

Example for Application Shutdown
If its required to display any important announcement on any application, user will create this activity. Firstly, user specify time duration lets assume its from 1st March till 14ht March from basic configuration and then will select the Application where they want to run this activity and the number of expected users. Now on client side this announcement will be displayed on the application to the users and the target is reached when the number of users in the application falls below the target zone for 7 days.
