Overview
The ASK Feature (Analyze, Search, Know) in Insights empowers users to explore application usage data through natural language queries. With ASK, users can interactively learn about user behavior and application insights without needing to write complex queries.
What is the ASK Feature?
The ASK feature allows users to:
- Ask natural language questions about application usage
- Gain meaningful, real-time insights into user behavior
- Choose from pre-defined questions or ask custom queries
It simplifies data analysis by making it conversational and intuitive, turning your insights experience into a dialogue.

How to Enable the ASK Feature
To activate the ASK feature in the portal:
- Navigate to the Insights page.
- Select a specific application.
- Click on the Settings button for the application.
- In the settings dialog, locate the AI Feature toggle.
- Enable the toggle. Once enabled, a new tab titled "ASK" will appear within the application's Insights section.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
Accessing and Using ASK
Once enabled:
- Open the Insights page.
- Select the application with ASK enabled.
- Navigate to the ASK tab.
Inside the ASK tab:
- Four default sample questions appear by default.
- Select a sample question or enter a custom query using natural language.
Examples of Valid Queries
- "What is the most used browser in June 2025?"
- "How many users accessed the application last week?"

Error Messaging
- If a query encounters an issue, a clear error message is shown to assist in correcting the input.
