Archived Apps

User Archived Apps to manage applications that are no longer actively used but may need to be retained for future reference.

When an application is archived, it is removed from the active application areas and moved to the Archived Apps section. From there, users can restore the application or permanently delete it.

This feature is intended for AppNavi users who manage applications and need to:

• Remove inactive or unnecessary applications from active application lists.
• Keep applications available for future use.
• Restore previously archived applications.
• Permanently delete archived applications and their associated data.
• Export the list of archived applications for reporting or analysis.

Archive an Application

To manage unwanted or unused applications, users can manually archive an application via the context menu.
Archived applications are moved to a dedicated Archived tab.
The Archived tab includes details such as the date and time the application was archived.
Once archived, all archived applications are hidden from all other areas of the user interface and can only be accessed through the Archived tab.

To archive an application:

1. Open the application list where the application is currently available.
2. Locate the application you want to archive.
3. Open the application's context menu.
4. Select Archive.

The application is moved to Archived Apps and is no longer displayed in the active application areas.

View Archived Applications

To view archived applications:

1. Open the Archived Apps section.
2. Review the list of applications that have been archived.

The Archived Apps table provides information about the archived applications, including when the application was archived.

Restore an Archived Application

Restore an application when you want to make it available again in the active application areas.

To restore an application:

1. Open Archived Apps.
2. Select the application using the checkbox.
3. Open the context menu.
4. Select Restore.

The application is restored with its previously available data.

Permanently Delete an Archived Application

Use permanent deletion when an archived application and its data are no longer required.

Warning: Permanent deletion cannot be undone. The application and its associated data are permanently removed.

To permanently delete an archived application:

1. Open Archived Apps.
2. Select the application using the checkbox.
3. Open the context menu.
4. Select Delete.
5. Confirm the deletion if prompted.

Note: AppNavi does not automatically delete applications. An application must be manually archived before it can be permanently deleted.
Users cannot delete applications directly, and AppNavi will never automatically delete an application, even when the blacklist is activated.

Export Archived Applications

User can download the current list of archived applications as a CSV file.

To export archived applications:

1. Open Archived Apps.
2. Click the context menu beside the search bar.
3. Select Download.
4. AppNavi generates a CSV file containing the current table view.
