Partner Tenant
Overview
A Partner Tenant provides the standard AppNavi platform features plus additional capabilities for demonstrations, evaluation, training, and customer onboarding.
The main difference from a Customer Tenant is access to demo data import in the Discovery and Insights modules. Partner tenants can use imported data to demonstrate AppNavi features without first collecting live application data.
Prerequisites
Before using Partner Tenant capabilities:
- Your AppNavi tenant must be configured as a Partner Tenant.
- You must have permission to access the relevant AppNavi modules.
- The Discovery or Insights module must be available in your tenant.
- Use suitable demo data when preparing a customer demonstration.
Important: The Import functionality is available only to Partner Tenants. Customer Tenants do not have access to the Import menu.
Partner Capabilities

These import capabilities are specifically provided for Partner Tenants.
Using Demo Data
Discovery
Use the Discovery Import functionality to import demo application data.
The imported data can be used to demonstrate capabilities such as:
- Business Capability detection
- Surveys
- Business Capability suggestions
Insights
Use the Insights Import functionality to import demo event data, including:
- Normal events
- Custom events
- URL patterns
- Blacklists
The imported data populates Insights dashboards and charts so that usage behavior can be demonstrated without waiting for live events.
Validation
After importing demo data:
- Open the relevant Discovery or Insights module.
- Confirm that the imported data is available.
- For Discovery, verify that the expected demo applications and related analysis are displayed.
- For Insights, verify that dashboards and visualizations contain data.
- Confirm that the displayed results correspond to the imported dataset.
- Use the populated data to demonstrate the required AppNavi functionality.
Expected result: The imported demo data is available in the selected module and can be used to explore or demonstrate AppNavi functionality.
Customer vs. Partner Tenants
- Customer Tenant: Standard AppNavi functionality for the customer's environment.
- Partner Tenant: Standard functionality plus Partner-specific demo-data import capabilities.
