Role Based Analytics

The role based analytics feature evaluates which users with which role use the content.

Following are the steps to activate Role based analytics.

Steps:

1. Navigate to manage tenant from left side bar menu
2. Goto the Applications tab
3. Select any specific application or create new one
4. In the edit application scroll down to the Analytics settings section

Enable the role based analytics

The basic requirement for this feature is that analytics is activated at the tenant and application levels. advanced Analytics must then be activated in the advanced settings of the application afterward.

It is then possible to activate the role recording. If this option is deactivated, no information about the roles of a user is recorded.

Submit the User Role

To submit a user's role to the Analytics Service, a Custom Code snippet must be implemented in the application custom code like explained set user role.

Displaying User Role based usage data

The evaluation of role-based usage is carried out in the object analytics for the object types route, post and hints as a bubble chart. The size of the bubbles in relation indicates the frequency of use.
