Demo Discovery Data

Overview

As a Tenant Owner, you can now import Demo Data for Discovery in your tenant to explore and understand how Discovery dashboards and analytics work before any real user data is available. This helps you visualize event trends, business capabilities, and usage patterns using meaningful sample data.

Steps to Import Discovery Data

1. Go to Manage Tenant > Discovery tab.
2. User will see a “Import Discovery Data” button at the top right, next to the Reset Discovery Data button.
3. Click “Import Discovery Data”.
4. A confirmation dialog will appear, informing you that: Loading demo data will delete existing Discovery data.
5. You must type “Import Discovery Data” to confirm.
6. Once confirmed, demo data will start loading, and you will see a message:
   Demo data will appear in your Discovery dashboards within 15 minutes.”

Uses of Demo Data

• Explore Discovery Dashboards without needing real time user activity.
• Understand how charts, analytics and business capability suggestions are presented.

Note:
This feature is available only for partner tenants.
While the demo data is being generated, you cannot re-run the process.
